Ana María Castaño

Ana is a forestry engineer from Universidad Nacional de Colombia. She has been birdwatching for the past 25 years. Ana has done research on birds and has promoted conservation and education all over her country. One of her passions are migratory birds with which she has worked both in Colombia and in the USA. She is the current executive director for Antioquia Ornithology Society – SAO, and has been president of this organization in several times. She acts as board member in National Network of Birdwatchers in Colombia – RNOA. Ana is one of the founder members of CN&B.
